The most common problem with images not uploading correctly or previewing correctly is simply the name of the image file. If you are uploading an image with unusual characters or long names simply rename the image and try uploading it again.

For example an image named "thisismeandmybestfriendonholidayinspain.jpg" could be renamed to "holiday1.jpg"
